Disneyland Paris is a theme park resort in Marne-la-Vallée, France. It contains two parks: Disneyland parc and Walt Disney studios parc (park= parc in French).
History[]
The plans for a European Disney park started around 1970, and after the success of the Tokyo Disney Resort (then Tokyo Disneyland, because it had only one park), they started looking for locations. The best location seemed to be Marne-la-Vallée. The park opened in 1992, followed by the Walt Disney Studios parc in 2002.
